The YX510-Dual band wireless repeater is a Bi-Directional Amplifier (BDA), designed for consumers, for single or multiple cell phone users in homes or offices. Dual-Band design covers all phones except Nextel iDen types. Handles all PCS or CELLULAR digital & analog protocols, and includes multiple patent pending technologies to provide low-cost coverage while continually adapting to signals to prevent interference and remain transparent to the wireless network. Provides a visual indicator if the antenna is positioned improperly, but will NOT suffer damage or interfere with the Carrier Network. BENEFITS for the Cell Phone Repeater Antenna and Signal Booster User: Stay wireless on your cell phone! No cradle or connections! Truly affordable in a complete cell phone repeater antenna and signal booster kit. YX510-Dual band wireless repeater is Easy to install & Simple to use. Wi-Ex Cell Phone Repeater Antenna and zBoost Signal Booster are CELLULAR SYSTEM specific! This means that you cannot use iDen handsets (Nextel, Boost, Southern Linc, ClearNET) with this repeater! You may use a Sprint/Nextel hybrid phone, but ONLY the Sprint Cellular band will obtain signal improvement This YX510-Dual band Cell Phone Repeater works in BOTH the 800 MHz and 1900 MHz bands, used by ALL cellular networks. Note: If you can place a cell phone call outside your home or office near where the outside antenna will be placed, the YX510 Cell Phone Repeater unit will help you by boosting the signal inside the building. If you can place a call outside, but the signal is weak, (1 bar or less on your cell phone), consider an optional high-performance antenna. If there is no signal outside, this Cell Phone Repeater will probably not provide signal improvemen. Once the unit is installed, no returns are accepted.
